Hi everyone,

This is short promotional note about a silly idea I have decided to make into a reality. Truthfully, last night I sort of cracked a little bit and prescribed ‘dancing to Enya’ for everyone who pays attention to my IG stories. Given the stretching of possibility and plausibility currently occurring live in reality, why NOT declare myself a song doctor, I thought. Really truly!

So, this morning I spun up Song Apothecary. It’s like a prescription drugs delivery service, only for music and a little bit more arcane.

HOW IT WORKS

• You cross my palm with silver (i.e. pay me $10)

• Then I listen to the aches of your little human heart and prescribe you a musical remedy.

• These remedies usually come in the shape of song + a note from me, but side-quests are also available.

My hope is this feels like silly fun or joyful resistance, and that perhaps people will consider it

• A playful way to offer one-off support to MVM, or

• A cheap way to get someone a meaningful gift, or

• A goofy way to pass some time — why not?
