This newsletter is an experiment. It might happen again, or it might not. We shall see.
What I want to do is make a place where folks can talk about how it was to respond to the prompt. I’d welcome your feedback on whether it does that or not.
At the top of this is a voice memo recording of the song I wrote. Have a listen if you feel like it. It comes complete with mistakes and weird iPhone air at the beginning. Just like it should, TBH.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PROMPT
I wrote this prompt and I really, really resisted what it asked as me. I think this much is evident in the song. It’s a little glib. I’m only taking parts of that tiny voice, the vaguest parts, and sharing them. Honestly, I might try it again when I’m in more truthful a mood. I think it’s a decent prompt and this song doesn’t really do it justice.
